Egypt:Insurance industry sees one-third jump in premium income in 1H2021

Insurance companies operating in the Egyptian market posted premium income totalling EGP24.54bn ($1.56bn) in the first six months of this year, 32.4% higher than the EGP18.53bn reported for 1H2020, according to data from the Financial Regulatory Authority.
