Kuwait:Domestic insurer receives 'Excellent' ratings from AM Best

Kuwait Insurance Company (KIC) has strong operating performance, evidenced by a five-year average (2014-2018) return on equity of 8.4%, says AM Best which has assigned a Financial Strength Rating of A- (Excellent) and a Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of "a-" to the insurer. The outlook assigned to these credit ratings is stable.
