The 35th conference of the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF), to be held in October 2026, will have for its theme, "Back to Principles", said the Jordan Insurance Federation (JIF) in a statement.

JIF, which is part of the Higher Organising Committee of the General Conference of GAIF, also announced that the 35th Conference will be held at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre in the Dead Sea region of Jordan, from 4 to 7 October 2026. These announcements indicate that JIF has started in earnest to prepare for the event. The GAIF Council, at a meeting in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on 8 November 2025, announced that the 35th Conference would be held at the Dead Sea in Jordan.

The JIF statement added that the selection of Jordan to host this important Arab event is a testament to its leading role in developing the insurance sector and affirms its position as an attractive environment for organising regional and international events.

It added, “Furthermore, holding the Conference on the shores of the Dead Sea adds significant value, as the region is one of the world's leading destinations for hosting major conferences, being the lowest point on Earth and boasting luxurious hotels, making it a distinguished destination for international delegations.

The King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre is the ideal choice to host this regional event, thanks to its comprehensive facilities and state-of-the-art equipment capable of meeting the requirements of major international conferences, thus ensuring a successful and exceptional experience for participants.”
