Four main themes will be discussed at the Global Insurance Conference & Exhibition ingate, set to be held in Riyadh on 10-12 November.

The themes are:

  • rethinking regulation to build trust as a new global financial value;

  • making insurance an attractive investment through better capital financing tools;

  • driving smart transformation and reimagining protection through new technologies and AI;

  • and people and planet, focusing on human and environmental sustainability, developing talent, and promoting financial and professional inclusion.

The Global Insurance Conference & Exhibition ingate will be held under the patronage of Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of Finance and chairman of the Financial Sector Development Programme Committee. The event will be held at the Mayadeen Venue in the historic town of Diriyah in Riyadh, dubbed as a premier cultural location where significant national and international events are held.

Organised by the Saudi Insurance Authority, this is the Kingdom's first international event focused on the insurance industry and its future. The Conference covers the major changes happening in Saudi Arabia's financial and insurance sectors as part of Vision 2030. It brings together regulators, insurance and reinsurance companies from around the world; investors; and tech innovators to discuss sustainable growth and strengthen ties between regional and global markets.

In a statement, Mr Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, the conference's general supervisor, said ingate is a strategic meeting point for ideas, innovation, and investment in insurance. He noted that the event is taking place as the sector goes through major changes that are making it more efficient, boosting its contribution to the economy, and building trust as a driver of sustainable growth.

The Conference is aimed at regulators, insurance and reinsurance companies, credit rating agencies, consulting firms, investment banks, asset managers, FinTech and digital insurance investors, universities, and training organisations.

Mr Al-Ghamdi said the event will speed up the development of Saudi Arabia's insurance industry and strengthen its role as a leading regional hub by promoting innovation and sustainability, expanding investment partnerships, and creating a comprehensive insurance ecosystem ready for the future.

The event schedule features over 40 panel discussions and specialised workshops with more than 100 international speakers and 150 local and global organisations. The accompanying exhibition is expected to draw over 7,000 visitors over the three days. Leading insurance companies are sponsoring the event.
