Orient Insurance, the leading insurance company in the UAE, has announced strong financial results for the first half of 2026.
Net profit after tax amounted to AED545m ($148m) in the first six months of this year, an increase of 8%, compared to AED503m in the first half of 2025.
This was achieved on the back of a 17% increase in insurance revenue to AED5.22bn, compared to AED4.47bn in the first half of 2025.
Commenting on the results, Mr Omer Elamin, CEO of Orient Insurance Group, said, “Our results for the first half of 2026 reflect the strength of our business and our ability to achieve sustainable growth, driven by a clear vision focused on innovation, operational excellence, and enhancing the customer experience. As we continue to invest in technology and develop our capabilities, we continue to enhance our readiness to keep pace with changes in the market.”
