Gulf Insurance Group (GIG) has announced that Mr Khaled Saoud Al Hasan is going to step down from his role as Group CEO with effect from 31 December 2025.
The company said in a statement lodged with Boursa Kuwait that Mr Al Hasan had submitted his resignation at his own request, and he would continue to serve as Vice Chairman of the group.
Mr Al Hassan has over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. He joined Gulf Insurance Company (now GIG) in 1978 and moved through a variety of senior managerial and technical positions in the company.
He has also served as the Chairman of Kuwait Insurance Federation (KIF) and sat on the board of several GIG subsidiaries, the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF) and Arab Reinsurance Company.
