Turkey:Disaster pool pays record US$41m in compensation for losses in a quake

The Turkish Catastrophe Insurance Pool (TCIP) has paid out TRY401m ($41.8m) in compensation for losses caused by the magnitude-7 Izmir earthquake that struck on 30 October 2020.
