The Insurance and Social Insurance Supervisory Authority (ACAPS) has launched "E-Wassit Taamine", an e-learning training programme for the insurance intermediaries.
This project comes within the framework of measures by the Authority to support participants in the insurance sector, in particular insurance intermediaries, says ACAPS in a statement.
Launched on 25 January, the “E-Wassit Taamine” platform offers a training programme aimed at boosting the skills of intermediaries in order to promote the development of their business and strengthen the protection of policyholders, says ACAPS.
Developed in partnership with the International University of Rabat (UIR), the “E-Wassit Taamine” programme covers topical issues and practical cases and educational capsules developed by insurance experts, says the Authority. At the end of the program, course participants will be awarded a certificate in insurance intermediation.
E-training platform's coverage
ACAPS involves insurance intermediaries in carrying out the project in order to identify their training needs and to adjust the educational contents of the platform accordingly.
Free and open to all insurance intermediaries, which number more than 2,100 beneficiaries, the “E-Wassit Taamine” programme covers six themes, namely, the environment and regulations, intermediation, property insurance, liability insurance, personal insurance and takaful.
