Member mills of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) will be able to provide Shariah-compliant group life and personal accident takaful coverage to their officials and employees, following the signing of a tripartite agreement.
The takaful insurance agreement was inked by Akij Takaful Life Insurance, BTMA and City Bank, according to local media reports.
Under the agreement, Akij Takaful Life will be the takaful service provider, BTMA member companies will participate as policyholders, and City Bank will serve as the bancassurance partner. M
