Morocco: Trust Re opens representative office

Bahrain-headquartered Trust Re has officially opened a representative office in Casablanca Finance City (CFC) to serve clients in North, Central and West Africa, and has plans for the office to become a hub for the African continent, it said in a statement.
Mr Fadi AbuNahl, CEO of Trust Re, said: “When we started thinking of establishing a physical presence on the African continent, Morocco has always been a preferred option for us. We have a high opinion of the Kingdom’s stability and respect the acumen of the Moroccan workforce. Moreover, we have full confidence in the continued future prosperity of the Kingdom of Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.”
Trust Re grew its GWP by 13.7% y-o-y to US$452 million in 2014. Profits fell 14.4% to $15.4 million.
