News - MENA & GCC : Middle East IPO values plunge 95% to lowest level in five years – Ernst & Young

The value of initial public offerings (IPO) in the Middle East plunged 94.8% this first quarter of 2011 to US$21.7 million, the lowest in five years as regional unrest and underperforming stock markets affected investor appetite for fresh offerings, said Ernst & Young in a report.
