Insurer evaluating potential of takaful in Singapore

Takaful has yet to gain traction in Singapore despite ambitions by the regulator to build capabilities in Islamic finance as early as 2006. A regional insurer is evaluating the potential of bringing its takaful products to the Singapore market. Middle East Insurance Review spoke to Etiqa Singapore’s Mr Raymond Ong for insights.
