The insurance industry’s festival for diversity and inclusion has been confirmed for its seventh consecutive year and will take place from 21 to 23 September this year. The festival will carry the theme ‘Active allyship’, calling on the industry to turn intention into action and to take responsibility for making changes that will help others be successful. This year’s event is expected to take on a hybrid format, combining both virtual and physical events.

Last year, the festival had its highest turnout since its launch in 2015, with over 30,000 attendees from 35 countries taking part in 144 online events.

Dive In provides the insurance industry with the opportunity to take decisive action to improve diversity and inclusion within the workplace and covers topics including mental health, social mobility, neurodiversity, privilege and cultural diversity within the workplace.

The Dive In 2020 festival brought together over 500 speakers who tackled a range of topics from mental wellbeing to disability. Global festival partners confirmed for this year include: AIG, Arch Capital Services, Aon, Aviva, AXA XL, Axis, Chubb, CNA Hardy, DLA Piper, Gallagher, Howden Group, Kennedys, Lloyd’s, Markel, MS Amlin, RenRe, RMS, Tokio Marine Kiln and Travellers. Middle East Insurance Review (MEIR) is a media partner of this year’s Dive In Festival. M
