Dubai World Insurance Congress (DWIC)
26-27 February, Dubai, UAE
Since its launch in 2017, DWIC has focused on providing senior insurance executives with a platform to meet and do business. Co-hosted by Global Reinsurance and the DIFC, the annual conference will deliver networking, business and thought leadership opportunities, all under one roof.

13th Middle East Healthcare Insurance Conference
Theme: “Hi-Tech Hi-Touch Health Insurance and the Pull of Investing in Healthcare, HealthTech and InsurTech”
3–4 March, Muscat, Oman
Under the patronage of the Capital Market Authority of Oman, Middle East Insurance Review is organising the Middle East Healthcare Insurance Conference for the third time in Muscat.
The two-day event will continue the discussions on the developments of compulsory health insurance in Oman and around the region, current technological advancements in healthcare and look at how new technologies are revolutionising healthcare, health outcomes, and human experiences.

8th Asia Insurance Brokers’ Summit
Theme: “A Perfect Vision for Brokers: Driving Business in the Data Tech Era”
10–11 March, Singapore
Brokers have been playing an important – at times unappreciated – role in insurance since time immemorial. In this digital era with InsurTech and the various modes of online distribution, brokers seem further challenged. The summit will look at the core value that brokers bring to insurance and the challenges they face at present – and the way forward.

15th Asia Conference on Healthcare and Health Insurance
Theme: “Back to the Future in Health Insurance: Putting the Care Back in Health – 
Powered by Tech and Digital”
17–18 March, Singapore
The two-day conference will discuss the dynamic and critical role of insurance, both life and general, in the health business, how the insurance, health and tech markets find a common working ground, how the insurance industry can regenerate itself in the new ecosystem and what services and solutions are the ultimate enablers to create real health, wealth of opportunities and add value.

Carthage Insurance and Reinsurance Rendezvous
Theme: “The Insurance Industry Facing Regulatory and Digital Challenges”
22–24 March, Tunis, Tunisia
Under the patronage of the Minister of Finance, the three-day event will provide the perfect platform for representatives of insurance and reinsurance companies to network and understand the Arab and African insurance markets. The agenda includes three workshops: the first will be dealing with digitalisation, the second will be focusing on the solvency of risks and the third will cover IFRS 17.

Asia InsurTech & AI Summit 2020
Theme: “Winning with Disruptions: Getting the Edge through InsurTech”
15–17 April, Singapore
The summit will be a great opportunity to network and meet with insurers, founders, investors, and experts that are spearheading the industry’s digital transformation and shaping the future of the insurance ecosystem. A panel of experts will share their unique perspectives on the current state of InsurTech, where the industry is headed, as well as how to gear up for scale in the competitive insurance landscape.

3rd Myanmar Insurance Summit
Theme: “Myanmar: A Modern Case Study in Opening Up the Insurance Sector - A Win-Win for All”
27-28 April 2020, Yangon, Myanmar
With Myanmar’s insurance market finally open to foreign competition, the country represents an ideal case study of insurance reform and liberalisation and the role of insurance in an era of technology. Following the success of the Myanmar insurance summits in 2014 and 2018, Asia Insurance Review will host the 3rd Myanmar Insurance Summit in Yangon, with support from the Ministry of Finance of Myanmar and Myanma Insurance. This summit is aimed at exploring the opportunities for new entrants in all areas of insurance to help build resilience in this fast-emerging nation. 

The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) Asia Conference 2020
Theme: “Reinvention to Thrive in a Digital Age”
24-25 June, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The conference is expected to attract intellectual thought leaders, senior industry players, opinion formers, academics, actuaries and non-actuaries from across Asia and beyond. The event will focus on the reinvention of the actuarial profession in terms of its skillsets and mindsets so that actuaries can thrive in an increasing range of domains in today’s digital age.

East Asian Insurance Congress (EAIC) 2020
Theme: “2020, A Brave New Decade for Insurance”
30 August–2 September, Seoul, South Korea
The 30th EAIC will serve as an important opportunity for industry leaders from member countries to gather and discuss the industry’s role in the face of a radically changing business environment both in their home countries and abroad.
