25th Indonesia Rendezvous
Theme: “Reshape, Reload, Re-engage, Ready for the next 25 years”
16–19 October, Bali, Indonesia
The event will focus on preparing the industry for its next 25 years by taking into account what has been learned in the past, what is currently happening in the market and more importantly what is expected to happen that may demand significant changes or adjustments to the way the insurance industry has conducted its business in the past.

Gulf Insurance Forum
Theme: “How Insurance Correlates with Social Security, End of Service Benefit & Retirement”
16-17 October, Dubai, UAE
The Gulf Insurance Forum, now in its 16th year, will feature plenary sessions and panel discussions with industry leaders and experts and will provide an opportunity to address important issues and their impact on the insurance and reinsurance industry. The topics include: providing social protection for different categories of workers; towards the sustainability of pension funds; insurance companies and social security; retirement planning between insurance companies and asset management; privatisation of pension funds and the role of life insurers.

Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC)
Theme: “Winds of change”
29 October-1 November, Singapore
SIRC has established itself as one of the most important events on the Asian reinsurance calendar where leading insurers, brokers and reinsurers gather to take stock of the reinsurance market and set the tone for the renewal season while exploring new opportunities for business cooperation. The conference will address pressing industry issues such as the increasing frequency of extreme weather events caused by climate change, industry disruption and digital transformation, and the sustainability of the insurance/reinsurance business model as operating margins narrow.

PARIMA Malaysia Conference 2019
Theme: “Redefining Risks”
4–5 November, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The business landscape is constantly changing and good risk managers understand that a wider lens is required to be able to look ahead. New and intangible risks require different risk management approaches. With transformative business models at play, risk managers need to  continually adapt and equip themselves to stay relevant and ahead of the game. This event is for risk managers who are ready to embrace new perspectives when looking at risk, managing risks and developing themselves.

China Rendezvous
Theme: “Brave New Era of Reinsurance in China”
5-7 November 2019, Shanghai, China
China is today the fastest growing insurance market in the world, driven by high economic growth, ballooning personal wealth and favourable policies. China will have a critical role to play as the global economy faces increasing stress caused by factors like the Sino-US trade friction and rising debt burden across the globe. The Rendezvous will create opportunities for networking and bilateral discussions for next year’s renewals and breathe greater professionalism into the market.

Asia Insurance Claims Summit
Theme: “Adjusting to Globalisation”
5-6 November, Singapore
In the digital era, claims settlement and claims management get greater priority. Everyone in the value chain needs to speed up, even adjusters. The event will directly tackle these issues as well as have special local, regional and international panels to up the ante for claims professionals. The image of insurance lives and dies by its claims track record.

15th International Conference on Inclusive Insurance 
Theme: “Coping with climate risk”
5–7 November, Dhaka, Bangladesh
The conference will discuss and identify ways of accelerating growth and economic viability in inclusive insurance for emerging markets. The conference will feature panel discussions on key topics in inclusive insurance apart from interactive sessions hosted by partner organisations on emerging issues. 

26th ICLAM (International Committee for Insurance Medicine) Congress
10-13 November, Mumbai, India
The ICLAM congress was last held in Asia in Tokyo in 1986 and returns to the continent after a gap of 32 years. The event has, since 1935, been the international benchmark for scientific training, interactive discussion and networking on topics related to risk underwriting and more recently in claims assessment. It is well respected for the high quality of its faculty and presentations.

Singapore FinTech Festival
11–15 November, Singapore
The event features a FinTech conference and exhibition, FinTech awards, Global FinTech hackcelerator demo day, Global Investor Summit and Innovation Lab Crawl. In 2018, the event was attended by 45,000 participants from 130 countries. Participants comprised executives and decision makers from global financial institutions and corporates, innovators and technologists from FinTech start-ups to unicorns, investors, and academia.

2nd Sharm Rendezvous
Theme: “Profitability in Insurance Industry: Mind the Gap”
11-13 November, Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt

2nd South Asian Actuarial Conference
Theme: “Stepping into the Future”
13–14 November, Colombo, Sri Lanka
The conference will look at the challenges and opportunities for actuaries in the region. The event will feature an interesting line up of speakers and topics and is a must-attend event for insurance and finance professionals in the region. 

29th Pacific Insurance Conference
17-20 November, Hong Kong 
As one of the world’s largest insurance conferences, the PIC serves to enable executives who engage in life, health, retirement savings and wealth management businesses in the Pacific Rim to exchange information and gain an insight into issues concerning future business and economic development in the 21st century.

East Asian Insurance Congress (EAIC) 2020
Theme: “2020, A Brave New Decade for Insurance”
30 August–2 September 2020, Seoul, South Korea
The 30th East Asian Insurance Congress will serve as an important opportunity for industry leaders from member countries to gather and discuss the industry’s role in the face of a radically changing business environment both in their home countries and abroad.
