UAE takaful operators catching up with conventional peers

Despite operating in a highly competitive market, the takaful segment in the UAE registered higher growth than its conventional peers in 2018 though its market share remains comparatively small, say Ms Emily Thompson and Mr Salman Siddiqui of A.M. Best.
