Oman: Al Madina Takaful grows by 34%

Al Madina Takaful saw gross written contributions for 2015 increase by 34% y-o-y to OMR31 million (US$80.2 million). Profit after tax fell 19% y-o-y to OMR0.83 million.
Total investment income stood at OMR0.56 million before an impairment loss of OMR0.77 million which the company had to take on its investment in Watania, as opposed to OMR0.78 million.
