MENA: Arab Insurance Institute to offer LOMA certifications

The Arab Insurance Institute (AII) and LOMA have signed an agreement making the AII an authorised LOMA provider, offering LOMA certifications across the MENA region.
LOMA was represented at the signing by Mr Ian Watts, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, International Operations, LIMRA, LOMA and LL Global, Inc; the AII was represented by Mr Khaled K AbuNahel, Chairman of AII (Jordan) and Mr Abdul Khaliq R Khalil, Secretary General of GAIF.
“LOMA has been serving its international members for more than 80 years,” said Mr Watts. “This partnership will expand our reach to AII members, ensuring they will have access to LOMA’s recognised industry knowledge and expertise.”
Mr AbuNahel called the partnership an “important milestone” in the AII’s journey of “establishing itself as a reference point and a well-qualified training institute”. He added: “Our association with LOMA will add great value to the range of products and services we offer to our clients.”
