Mr Alaa El-Zoheiry has been elected as president of the Insurers Federation of Egypt (IFE) by acclamation for the term 2025-2029 in his capacity as vice chairman of GIG Egypt Life Takaful.
Mr El-Zoheiry chaired IFE for two consecutive terms between 2017 and 2025, in his capacity as the managing director of GIG Egypt.
Al-Mohandes Insurance Company's vice chairman and managing director, Mr Khaled Abdel Sadek, was elected as IFE vice chairman by acclamation as well.
The election was held yesterday.
