Insurers show investment interest in renewables

Riding the tide of regional ambitions like Saudi Vision 2030 and the UAE’s net zero ambitions, insurers in the Middle East have shown investment interest in renewables such as solar and wind. While interest and growing engagement are rising, there are ambiguous or fragmented regulations in many markets obscure effective ESG-related asset allocation.
