IR4 Conference to ride on the Korean digital wave

Source: Middle East Insurance Review | Sep 2018

Asia Insurance Review is partnering with Korea Life Insurance Association to bring this IR4 insurance conference – to be held on 16 and 17 October 2018 – to the world with the theme: ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution – Blurring the Boundaries: Survival still for the fittest’.

Fittingly, the conference will be held in Seoul, South Korea – one of the most tech savvy cities in the world equipped to serve as a dynamic Asian hub for global businesses.

The conference will be strategic in getting insurers to understand the deep impact of the changes taking place in the new world and to prepare for this human-centred technology revolution. It will address the tech challenges in dealing with IR4, as well as provide solutions and case studies from around the world.

The conference will bring industry stalwarts from around the world such as Asia InsurTech Association president George Kesselman, Digital Insurance Group CEO Ingo Weber and A.M. Best managing director for Asia Pacific Jose Ribeiro, among others to share experiences and engage in discussions.

As a bonus, the conference will also be bringing in speakers from outside the industry to tap on their expertise to help the insurance industry keep pace with global players across all sectors. Look out for the keynote address by International Insurance Society president & CEO Michael Morrissey and a fireside chat with established film producer Ho Sung Kim.
