UAE: Chaucer MENA opens in DIFC

Chaucer, the international specialty insurance group, has opened Chaucer MENA Underwriting in the DIFC to support Middle Eastern and North African business. The office will write a broad range of specialty insurance and treaty business through Syndicate 1084 at Lloyd’s.
Senior Executive Officer Fawzi Omari will lead Chaucer MENA. He has extensive specialty broking and underwriting experience and excellent relationships with many brokers and cedants in the region. Since joining in February 2015, he has headed Chaucer underwriting in the MENA region, including the development of Chaucer MENA.
