National Bank of Oman (NBO) has launched Himayati My Health Plus, a comprehensive takaful plan for women in the Sultanate.
Available for the bank’s female customers, the Himayati My Health Plus plan will pay a lump sum cash benefit if female policyholders are diagnosed with any of the seven primary cancers among women. The plan is available for women in all ages and does not require any medical tests or family history. Customers can choose from a range of four different plans, with either monthly or annual payment options.
For married women, the plan provides an option of protecting their financial well-being in case of unforeseen circumstances, such as the demise of the spouse. The benefits under this option include a lump sum amount on the husband’s natural or accidental death and another lump sum amount to support children’s education fees, health care, rent dues, relocation expenses and skill enhancement.
Mr John Chang, General Manager and Chief Retail Banking Officer at NBO, said: “Launching the Himayati My Health Plus plan is a key component of our journey to offer consumers a complete choice of protection plans that suit their specific needs. The introduction of this unique plan is also in line with our commitment to providing comprehensive cover for women.”
Himayati My Health Plus plan is underwritten by Takaful Oman Insurance and is available through the bank’s network of branches and Sadara Centres.
