Oman: Fenchurch Faris opens Muscat office

Fenchurch Faris and Oman Holdings International (OHI) have officially launched their Omani joint venture, Fenchurch Faris Insurance Services LLC, at an event held at the Chedi in Muscat in early November.
The ceremony was inaugurated by HE Ahmed bin Hassan al Dheeb, Under Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the presence of company officials and guests.
“The launch of Fenchurch Faris Oman operations is yet another step in our recent geographic expansion plans for the MENA region and we are proud to offer our services in the Sultanate of Oman,’’ said Mr Basim R Faris, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Fenchurch Faris.
“As a group we have always believed in the power of partnerships and this is the beginning of one such enduring partnership,” said Mr Maqbool Hameed al Saleh, Chairman, OHI Group Of Companies.
Fenchurch Faris operates as an independent insurance and reinsurance broker in the Middle East and Africa with offices in Athens, Kuwait, Amman, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Riyadh. The OHI Group’s business interests range from contracting, telecom, hospitality, broadcasting, real estate, communications, and IT solutions to marine, petroleum, and energy services in the core industrial sector.
The new company will transact direct and wholesale insurance brokering services for the Omani market.
