The IFRS17 rollout in a number of major markets in the MENA region, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE by 1 January 2023 will provide significant opportunities for actuaries according to SHMA Consulting’s Mr Shariq Sikander, who has been working as a consulting actuary in the region for over a decade.
