UAE:Water risks could cause GDP loss of US$27bn

Changing drought, flood and storm conditions could result in losses of up to $27bn in GDP to the UAE over the period 2022 to 2050, an average annual GDP loss of 0.1%, according to research by global professional services company GHD.
