Turkiye:Premium hikes fuel concern that more vehicles might become uninsured

The proportion of uninsured vehicles, which stood at 10% of the total number of registered vehicles in Turkiye at the start of 2021, has reached 20% at present and may grow to 30% because of increases in motor insurance premiums and the prices of vehicles. The number of vehicles plying Turkish roads at present is around 25m.
