Oman:Listed insurers' 2021 profits hit on higher claims as activities return to normal

Listed insurance companies in Oman reported a decline of 46% in aggregate net profit before tax to OMR21m for the year 2021 (2020: OMR39m), according to data compiled by regional actuarial consulting firm Badri Management Consultancy from the insurers' financial statements. The result is the lowest for the last five years.
