Kenya:Reinsurer's financial results dented by doubtful receivables

Kenya Re saw its consolidated net profit for 2021 rise marginally by 0.8% to KES2.97bn ($25.7m), after incurring an impairment hit of KES909.4m for bad debts relating to unpaid premiums-up from KES227.8m in 2020.
