Jordan:Listed insurers post lower aggregate profits in 2021 due to motor losses and impact of COVID

Preliminary data published by 19 listed insurance companies in Jordan show a 39% plunge in profits to JOD15.6m ($22m) for 2021, compared to JOD25.6m for 2020, according to Mr Maher Al-Hussein, director-general of the Jordan Insurance Federation (JIF).
