UAE:Profits of listed insurers rise by 16% to US$300m in 1H2021

The profits of listed insurance companies in the UAE jumped by 16% to AED1.1bn ($300m) for 1H2021 compared to the corresponding half of 2020, despite a deteriorating loss ratio that rose to 61% in 1H2021 from 56% in 1H2020, according to an analysis by Badri Management Consultancy.
