Taiwan:Video calls, COVID policies & amended broking rules are key issues in insurance market

The longstanding practice for insurance agents to pay in-person visits to customers to solicit new policies, underwrite, or settle claims is facing new challenges by quarantine restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, says the law firm Lee and Li Attorneys-at-Law in a commentary in the Risk Radar 2021 report released by Global Insurance Law Connect (GILC).
