Egypt:Largest insurance group to establish standalone health insurer

The state-owned insurance group, Misr, has filed an application with the Financial Regulatory Authority to establish a company specialising in medical insurance with issued and paid up capital of EGP160m ($10.2m), according to Mr Basel El Hini, chairman and managing director of Misr Insurance Holding Co (MIH).
