Turkey:Growth of elderly population outpaces that of other age groups

The number of the elderly population, that is, people aged at least 65, in Turkey increased by 22.5% to 7.95m in 2020 from 6.50m in 2015, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat).
