The state-owned Policyholders Compensation Fund (PCF) has started paying compensation for insurance companies that have been declared insolvent and whose liquidation process has been approved by the courts of law, according to Mr William Masita, the managing trustee of the Fund. This is the first time that the Fund is making payouts.
