Kenya:Brokers withhold premium payments of US$423m from insurers

Businesses, individuals and households in Kenya have paid out KES43bn ($423m) in premiums on non-existent insurance covers after agents failed to remit the payments to insurers, exposing the customers to failed claims and heavy losses.
