UAE:DHA announces major change to newborn insurance cover

A new directive from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) requires insurers to cover newborn babies, even if premature, with no waiting period, according to media reports. The aim of this directive is to ensure that there is no gap in a newborn having access to continuous insurance cover from the time of birth.
