With wildfires blazing across northeastern Algeria this month and exacting a heavy toll on property and lives, the Algerian Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (UAR) is urging the public to buy mandatory disaster insurance and calling for a revamp in the approach to promoting this branch of insurance.
