Energy:Carbon transition risks and strategies vary among different oil-producing regions

The momentum driving the path to zero carbon emissions places a renewed sense of urgency on the oil and gas industry's need for diversification, prompting new strategies in response to the evolving long-term outlook for the demand for fossil fuels. Oil and gas producers have begun to make slow progress in their carbon-transition efforts, according to Moody's Investors Service in a commentary.
