2nd Asia Employee Benefits & Insurance Conference 
Theme: “Benefits Beyond Boundaries – The Smart Caring Employer”

6th Asia Agriculture Insurance Conference
12-13 September 2019, New Delhi, India
The awareness of agricultural insurance and its coverage potential has witnessed a manifold increase across Asia over the past few years. The liabilities are increasing too as farmers continuously face a volatile trade environment and the excesses of climate change. So there is a need to step up with better models and more effective risk management tools. This event will take the debate a step further and explore the changing perspective of agricultural insurance today and will also look at how insurers can rise to the challenge of facing the fragmented agri-platforms and the government-backed agriculture insurance schemes that are transforming farmer communities in the region.

26th Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers & Reinsurers (FAIR) Conference
Theme: “New Economic Barriers in Afro-Asian Insurance Markets”

The FAIR conferences have always succeeded in attracting hundreds of delegates including industry top-executives and key decision-makers from the regional and global insurance and reinsurance markets, presenting a good opportunity to meet with business partners and providing the chance to engage with high-profile speakers and debate some of the important and controversial issues and challenges facing the industry today.

The Takaful Rendezvous 2019
Theme: “Transformation of Takaful in Industrial Revolution 4.0: Being Smart and Sustainable”
2-3 October 2019, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The Rendezvous will bring together senior individuals in conventional and takaful insurance from around the world to address the challenges and opportunities in dealing with IR4 in a tough economic environment and socio-political issues that are expected to continue in the coming period. The event will have a dedicated panel on drawing lessons from the success of the different regions in the Middle East, Asia and Africa, as well as a panel on drawing lessons from the traditional players.

Gulf Insurance Forum 
16-17 October, Dubai, UAE
The Gulf Insurance Forum, now in its 16th year, will feature plenary sessions and panel discussions with industry leaders and experts and will provide an opportunity to address important issues and their impact on the insurance and reinsurance industry. The topics include: providing social protection for different categories of workers; towards the sustainability of pension funds; insurance companies and social security; retirement planning between insurance companies and asset management; privatisation of pension funds and the role of life insurers. 

Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC)
Theme: “Winds of change”
29 October-1 November, Singapore
SIRC has established itself as one of the most important events on the Asian reinsurance calendar where leading insurers, brokers and reinsurers gather to take stock of the reinsurance market and set the tone for the renewal season while exploring new opportunities for business cooperation. The conference will address pressing industry issues such as the increasing frequency of extreme weather events caused by climate change, industry disruption and digital transformation, and the sustainability of the insurance/reinsurance business model as operating margins narrow. 

China Rendezvous
Theme: “Brave New Era of Reinsurance in China”
5-7 November 2019, Shanghai, China
China is today the fastest growing insurance market in the world, driven by high economic growth, ballooning personal wealth and favourable policies. China will have a critical role to play as the global economy faces increasing stress caused by factors like the Sino-US trade friction and rising debt burden across the globe. The Rendezvous will create opportunities for networking and bilateral discussions for next year’s renewals and breathe greater professionalism into the market.

26th ICLAM (International Committee for Insurance Medicine) Congress
10-13 November, Mumbai, India
The ICLAM congress was last held in Asia in Tokyo in 1986 and returns to the continent after a gap of 32 years. The event has, since 1935, been the international benchmark for scientific training, interactive discussion and networking on topics related to risk underwriting and more recently in claims assessment. It is well respected for the high quality of its faculty and presentations.

2nd Sharm E-Sheikh Rendezvous 2019
11-13 November, Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt
Sharm El-Sheikh Rendezvous is a leading annual platform where insurance & reinsurance leaders – locally, regionally and globally – meet to discuss and spread ideas and knowledge.
