Insurers see claims of over HK$2.9bn from super typhoon


According to recent statistics released by Hong Kong Federation of Insurers (HKFI), around 32,000 claims were incurred due to typhoon Mangkhut which struck Hong Kong in September 2018. These statistics were collected from 59 insurance companies accounting for over 80% of the market share.
