UAE:Islamic insurer posts stellar results for 2017

United Arab Emirates Takaful Financial Performance

Abu Dhabi-based Islamic insurer National Takaful (Watania), has posted net profit for the year ended 31 December 2017 of AED7.6 million (US$2.1 million). This was 19.78 times the net profit of AED385,000 in 2016.
