More than 10 insurers would fail proposed 33% single shareholder rule

An estimate has been made that 11 insurance companies would fail to meet a proposal by CIRC to slash the maximum stake held by a single shareholder to 33% from the current ceiling of 51%, if the rule came into effect now.
