Insurers registered in backward regions to be allowed 2 HQs

The Chinese insurance regulator, CIRC, has said that priority would be given to the establishment of life and non-life insurance companies in the central and western parts of China, which are less affluent compared to coastal regions. The insurers would be allowed to start operations in two provinces simultaneously and have two headquarters.
