Risks could cost global economy US$1.17 trillion in 2017

The risk of major shocks to the global economy is increasing, with the potential loss to the world's economic output estimated at US$1.17 trillion in 2017 and set to rise in the following two years, said a new report released last week by the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies.
