Egypt:Moroccan-owned life insurer receives preliminary licence

One of Morocco's biggest insurers, Wafa Assurance, has received initial approval from Egypt's Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) to establish a life insurance unit in the local market, with a paid-up capital of EGP150m ($9.2m).
