Egypt:Life insurance premiums surge by 41% in 2017

Life insurance companies in Egypt posted new-business and renewal premiums totalling EGP23 billion ($1.28 billion) in 2017, 41% higher than the EGP14 billion in 2016, according to data from the Financial Regulatory Authority.
