Emerging markets offer glimmer of hope for global economy

The global economy is less resilient now compared to 10 years ago. However, emerging Asia is a bright spot and potential remains for the MENA region, especially with some countries forging ambitious national visions and benefiting from technology as an enabler for success. Swiss Re’s group chief economist, managing director Dr Jerome Jean Haegeli highlights some key global economic developments and their impact on the insurance industry.
