Najm for Insurance Services Company has launched its Comprehensive Auto Insurance Management System (CAMS) which will serve as a centralised insurance repository for motor data in Saudi Arabia.
CAMS is set up to collect, record, and exchange insurance data. It can help develop the capabilities of insurers, analyse insurance risks, improve the quality of insurance services, and reduce insurance fraud, reported Saudi Gazette.
Customers will benefit from an array of services that CAMS will provide, including insurance database services which allow them to view their available insurance records any time of the day. The system can also affirm data accuracy.
CAMS will enable customers to avail themselves to no-claim discounts depending on their coverage history and the lack of claims. This will encourage them to abide by traffic laws and practise safe driving in order to maintain their eligibility for discounts.
Furthermore, the system will enable insurers to conduct case-specific risk analysis on individual vehicles or customers through accessing the latter’s insurance records which contain data such as vehicle cover, claims, recoveries, and vehicles recorded as total loss. M
