Morocco: Allianz enters life market

The Moroccan subsidiary of German global insurer Allianz SE is entering the life insurance business in the North African kingdom, to expand its range of products and services.

Allianz Morocco is starting out in the life sector with the launch of ‘Imtiyaz Retirement’, a flexible retirement savings solution, available in separate variants for individuals and businesses. These offers aim to enable policyholders to build up their financial wealth and benefit from tax incentives on long-term savings contracts.

“We believe that life insurance is a necessary element to complete our value proposition to our customers,” said Mr Joerg Weber, general manager of Allianz Morocco, at the launch of the new products.
